Graham has collaborated with Yugo Nakamura on the new Uniqlo UJ jeans ad campaign. The ad is for release in Japan, South Korea and UK and also on-line. You can see the ad on the video page.
New Album Release
The new album Circuit has been released and can be purchased from the shop on this site - click here. It features Noriko Ogawa and Kathryn Stott with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Naoto Otomo.
Athens - London - Tokyo 2009/10
As part of Graham's Composer Residency with the LCO, a new work has been commissioned for solo piano and orchestra for December 2009. This is a three way commission between three geographically dispersed orchestras Athens Camerata, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and London Chamber Orchestra. Each orchestra will perform the piece around the end of 2009, beginning of 2010. The first performance is on 9 December 2009 in London (see Diary).
The work is for solo piano, string orchestra and percussion and will continue Graham's partnership with Kathryn Stott who will be soloist for each performance.
Royal Ballet 2010
Graham has collaborated with choreographer Jonathan Watkins on a work for the Royal Ballet. Commissioned by the Royal Opera House this is a thirty minute dance work for orchestra (conducted by Barry Wordsworth) and the ballet is titled As One.
Leeds Cathedral 2010
The Diocese of Leeds has a new organ. As part of their celebrations, Graham has been asked to write a new work for this new organ at Leeds Cathedral. Benjamin Saunders is Director of Music there and will premiere the new work in summer of 2010 and the piece will be recorded later in the year by Herald.
